The Institute of Ancestral Medicine (IAM) was founded with one mission: To restore ancestral wisdom as the foundation of modern healing.
We are more than a school. We are a movement.
IAM exists to reclaim the sacred sciences of holistic health, herbalism, psychology, and spirit-led business through education that is rigorous, revolutionary, and rooted in reverence.
Our students don’t just study medicine — they become the medicine.

Our Founder
Anuuma Earth is a Master Herbalist, Medicine Woman, and Spiritual Teacher whose life’s work is to restore ancestral medicine to its rightful place in the world.
Having healed herself and thousands of others through natural medicine, Anuuma has devoted her life to making holistic education accessible, credible, and culturally rooted.
Her teachings merge the spiritual with the scientific, the ancestral with the academic, which form the foundation of IAM’s signature Ivy League standard in holistic mastery.
Through her leadership, IAM has become a home for those ready to bridge legacy and liberation, turning healing into heritage.

The Institute of Ancestral Medicine was born from a promise. A promise I made to myself, my children, Spirit, my ancestors, and every woman who’s ever felt unseen, unheard, or unhealed by the system.
It is quite literally my spiritual assignment.
After years of watching my community suffer under a broken model of medicine, I devoted my life to restoring the original path. The one our grandmothers walked before us. The one that has been forgotten, buried, and discredited. A path rooted in truth, nature, Spirit, and sovereignty.
IAM is more than a school. It is a sanctuary for remembrance.
Here, we honor both the science and the spirit of healing.
We study, we practice, and we master, not just to serve others, but to liberate and heal ourselves.
